I'll stick with you, and your English skills seems to be more than sufficient to catch the native English speaking visitors as well. Best of luck with the change of language, I hope it works out for you.

@ Denni, I'm sure you would do just fine writing in English. Its true that it does take up a little more of your time but it is only until you get the hang of it. I think the benefits of learning how to write in English will greatly outnumber the time you'll have to spend. Just think of all the possible new readers you can attract.

I'll let you know of my progress in the coming months. Its never to late to change your mind.

What a great step. I can understand you, and your english writing is fair. It wouldn't be possible for me to write a proper blog in english, because it would take too much time for me. - So I stick with danish.

I promise to keep sharing the details of what I'm doing besides my blog. I'll show income, traffic stats and all the rest. Like you I really enjoy the blogs that does this because they provide motivation and inspiration to keep going.

But only time will tell whether I will be able to attract and keep people to my blog. In the latest post I did about getting traffic: http://www.antphilosophy.com/getting-more-traffic-to-your-blog/ I'm explaining the two easy tools that I use (successfully) to get more visitors and reader to my blog.

No doubt that I'm going to stay and keep reading everything. I especially enjoy the posts which contains exact numbers, amounts (whether in danish Kr. or $ :-)) and concrete examples of your own work - lots of blogs writes about what to do but almost non shows and reveals it as you do..

My "worry" is not that your posts gets less interesting, but that less people will find them and than if somebody do, they will be quicker to leave before they know if this is for them.. At least I know I am - there are so many crappy English blogs out there, that my patience is A LOT shorter than on danish blogs - I guess you have like 20 seconds to convince my to stay if you run an English blog that I "accidentally" run into for the first time.. A Danish blog is usually given a couple of minutes.. :-)

But I actually hope to be proven wrong here - show me! :-)

@ Christian, Well I think that you can see it two ways. Sure there will be some people that either do not like reading in English or that, as you say, already have hundreds of other blogs in their feed reader already. But it is impossible to please everybody and that is not my point either... actually far from it.

This blog is created to provide value to its readers from all that I know and that I am able to communicate an teach. If I provide enough value people will come and people will stay. If I don't then they'll go away. But this will happen regardless of the language.

I firmly believe that if you take your online venture seriously you'll want to suck up all the valuable knowledge that you can get form this or any other blog NO MATTER the language. If you're only here to chat for fun in your native language then this blog has never been for you anyway.

But I'm glad that you're here and I hope that I can continue to provide you (and everybody else) with enough value for you to stay (and bring your friends). ;)

If had stumpled upon your blog in english my best guess is that I would just have moved on - since I already have bookmarked 100's of english blogs "like this" (at first sight). So I would never had become a regular reader if that was the case.... Now you have the benefit of already having group of readers, but my guess is that it will be harder for you to get more danish readers.. But that might just be a fair trade off if you get tons of foreign readers in return... Just my 5 cents..

Thanks guys!

@ Søren, I know I'll be swimming with the big fish but I image that if other people can start a new blog about this topic, build a reader base of a few thousands in a few years, then why not me? If I don't take action I'm not going anywhere :)

@ Thomas, I promise you that it'll never be in Italian. If it tried I would only be able to make posts of one or two words.

@ Riisager, you can comment in whatever language you like. However if you want all readers to understand your valuable comment I suggest English.

@ Frank, I'll do my very best to keep or even improve the level of the posts. Sure it'll take a little extra time but I don't expect it to be that much. Most of what I read and listen to is already in English so instead of translation I'll only be doing some rephrasing ;)

Okay then, English it is. You write it well enough. Hopefully you don't have to spend too much extra time writing in non-native language.
I expect the same quality of posts in the future, so of course I will stick around.
