Recently I read a blog post that showed how the guys behind Wordpress had a great sense of humor whenever something went wrong. Now I can’t find the blog on which I read it but if I find it I’ll add the link to this post*. The concept of making error messages more fun is that they hardly ever provide any real value anyway. At least not for non-techies!
When visiting Shoemoney’s blog the other day I wanted to subscribe to the feed (I can’t remember why I had cancelled my subscription). But then I got this little error message from Feedburner and even though I ended up never subscribing due to the error, I thought it was humorous.
If you have had similar experiences, please share them in the comments.

*EDIT: Frank found the blogpost for me. A link has been inserted in the post. Thanks Frank.

I never seem to encounter funny error messages, just plain, old ordinary error messages, when I run into websites with problems.
But the Wordpress error message was probably seen on the blog of Lars Bachmann:

Thanks Frank. That was just it… I wonder why I couldn’t find it
