My First Squidoo Income

I have to be honest with you that even though Squidoo has existed for years I’ve never really gotten around to use it until September this year. The concept of building lenses never really got to me so I spent my time doing a lot of other things.

But 2 months ago I decided to give it a try to see what it might do for me. The primary goal was to get more traffic to my websites and that was about it. I believe I had read somewhere that people were making money from Squidoo lenses but I hadn’t given it much thought”¦ that is until yesterday where I got this huge notice telling me that I had made money in my very first month!

It was nothing less than a whooping amount of $0.08 which I by the way had set it up to be donated to the Children’s Defence Fund. Isn’t there a saying that “every little help counts”? I would be hard pressed to donate any less

Since this first lens I’ve created a few more but I haven’t really spent much time on either the lens creation part or the promotion of the lenses. But I hope that October might bring $1.00 which would be an increase of more than 1,000%.
