In my opinion more people need to become aware of the effects of drug addiction and alcohol addiction. It is becoming a much more widespread thing. I think that people should promote a healthy active drug and alcohol free lifestyle.

Hi Mikael

Being healthy and fit is definately a good way of providing yourself with lots extra energy, and it is said to improve your mental capacites, too. I have lost 15 kg with Herbalife as my nutrition supplements, and have created a whole new lifestyle that I never wish to change. I'm not here to promote Herbalife, it's just part of my story .... Anyways, losing weight made me want to try to exercise too. Now, exercise is part of my daily routine, and I feel so empowered and ready to tackle challenges after a workout. Don't do a lot .... 25 sit-ups, and 20 push-ups, and about a 15-20 min jog a day, but it sure makes a difference ! I also love bicycling. Before, I was out of breath trying to do a few flight of stairs .... and in the beginning, I started out with a lot fewer reps. Ok ! The main thing is to get started ! You need to find a way of exercising that you like. When it's fun, it's so much easier to keep it up .... and to motivate yourself even when the going gets tough. An old ad campaign from Tag Heuer watches has really stuck to my mind : "Success is a mind game". If you put your mind to it, and decide to commit youself to do something, you will be successful. Like the ants, never giving up ! If you want to, I'd be happy to stand by you to try to give you the motivation and encouragement you need to get going !

Best regards

Hi Brian, first of all thank you for commenting. I was beginning to think that I wa the only one not exercising.

As for the supplements I'm taking it is a optimal mix of the things the human body needs. Protein alone is not enough but a vital factor for building bodymass and thereby increasing the rate at which one burns calories (and fat).

Hello Mikael,

what kind of supplement have you been using? only Protein? or is it some kind of mix?

Just to comment on your blog.. You are all to right, the hardest thing is getting out the door, I have the same problem which is why I decided to aim for 3 runs a week in the beginning.
It is great inspiration to read that I am not the only one struggling.

Best regards
